Tech Club 11/5
Yesterday was another GREAT Tech YL club! We had 60 kids show up, played tons of games, and even shaved JC and Jared's hair into mohawks. Coach Dorsey and Coach Wynkoop were able to hang out with us too! God has really enabled us to meet some amazing kids and we're building relationships with them. We're super excited about the work He is doing at Tech! Our next club is December 3rd, after school. Come check it out!

CAMP update
On Sunday June 28th at 5 AM, we sent 2 buses with 110 students and leaders to Georgia for the best week of their life! Tech was able to send 2 leaders and 7 students. They spent an amazing week at Sharp Top Cove where they were pulled out of their comfort zones, experienced challenges, connected with new friends and leaders and most importantly, heard the Gospel.
On the trip home, each of the campers wrote down some of their thoughts about the week. Here are some of the things they shared.
"I conquered my fears and grew in Christ. My favorite part was cabin time where we learned more about God." - 9th grade Tech student
"Thanks you for the best week of my life. You'll never know how much it helped me in so many ways." - 10th grade Tech student
"I truly think it was the best week of my life." - 9th grade Tech student

FIRST EVER Tech YL club!
After 4 years of praying, meeting, and fundraising, we had our FIRST YL club on Tech's campus! We had over 50 kids, ate 15 pizzas, and spent 2 hours hanging out. I was blown away by our amazing leaders, the great turn out, and how awesome God is. It was a little surreal for me to stand back and watch our leaders at work. I couldn't believe we were actually having a YL club at Tech! God is faithful!

Club at LC
Last night we took a bunch of Tech students to Young Life Club at Lawrence Central. It was an AWESOME night! The kids and leaders were dancing, singing, and having fun. Michelle did a great job in the Lincoln game and Zonte almost won the balloon pop. At the end of the night, Chris Kern (leader at LC) gave a great talk about the love God has for each of us. We are looking forward to hanging out at LC's club again, as well as starting our own at Tech this spring!
